We have 99 beautifully appointed rooms all with en-suite bathrooms. There are double rooms as well as family rooms. We also have rooms with inter-leading doors. Most rooms have private balconies with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. We offer 20-channel DStv. There is a minibar and tea- and coffee-making facilities in every room and free Wi-Fi. Some of our rooms have underfloor heating and some have air-conditioning. Please enquire. A full breakfast is included in your room price. Our hotel can sleep up to 279 guests.

Prepayments and Deposits

  • Houw Hoek Hotel requires a 100% deposit prior to arrival
  • We will issue a confirmation of reservation on receipt of your deposit
  • We are authorised to deduct a deposit from recognised credit cards

Cancellation Policy

  • Deposits / prepayments are not refundable for cancellations within 21 days of arrival
  • If a booking is cancelled more than 21 days before your arrival date, you will not be charged
  • Refunds on deposits for other bookings or premature departures are at the discretion of management and are dependent on the ability to relet the room

  • Refunds on deposits for other bookings or premature departures are at the discretion of management and are dependent on the ability to relet the room
  • All refunds are subject to R300 administration fee

Saturday Dinner Dance and Accommodation Combo

Our traditional Saturday Dinner Dance is held in our large Barn with a dancefloor and its own bar. We serve a delicious 3-course set menu. This offer includes accommodation and a full breakfast buffet in the morning.

Dinner is served from 19h30 and the music starts at 21h30.

Price includes bed and breakfast plus dinner dance.
Unfortunately no children under 12 years are allowed.

You may simply want to put your feet up and relax, but for those of you that are more energetic, our family-friendly hotel offers many exciting things to do. Experience endless entertainment during your stay with our exciting activities, including putt-putt, volleyball, and padel.

There are incredible hiking and mountain biking trails that start right here at the hotel. For the warmer months, we have two refreshing swimming pools.

We also have two indoor games rooms with much on offer, for both young and old.
