Five Different Conference Venues
Host your next conference at the Houw Hoek Hotel, only 80 km from Cape Town, just off the N2 freeway. We are peacefully positioned in an exquisite location, between the majestic mountains and picturesque ponds of the Kogelberg Nature Reserve. We have five air-conditioned conference rooms, each one with its own individual character and size. We can comfortably accommodate anything between 2 to 250 delegates and can tailor the seating according to your unique requirements. Being set in nature will have a positive impact on all delegates, leaving them relaxed and motivated.
Most of our rooms have private balconies showcasing breathtaking mountain views and have fireplaces for those cosy winter evenings. Join us for drinks in the oldest licensed bar in South Africa or have a cocktail on the terraces and enjoy the magnificent views. Our restaurant serves a range of excellent meals and our delicious buffet breakfast will get you started for the day. We offer all the comforts of home and our outstanding service and warm hospitality will ensure that you have a memorable stay.

The adjoining old farm buildings have been converted into conference venues that retain their original character while offering all the modern facilities required.
We have the capacity for numerous people to access the wireless Internet at once, we have an adequate power supply, our chairs are comfortable, and the sound systems work superbly.
Overnight Accommodation for up to 178 guests
The Houw Hoek Hotel has 77 rooms and can accommodate 178 delegates per night. There is, of course, free Wi-Fi for delegates in all the rooms.
Team Building Activities
We offer the perfect opportunity for team building as we have 4 hectares of rolling lawns for outdoor activities as well as two games rooms. There is putt-putt, volley ball and boules and tennis and squash courts. Many spectacular hiking and well-known mountain biking trails start at the Houw Hoek Hotel. Indoors we offer snooker, pool, darts, table tennis, air hockey and foosball.
In the surrounding area there are a variety of team building activities on offer, such as horse riding, golf, canoeing, zip lining and excellent wine, cider and brandy tastings.
The Conference Package
Our conference package includes the following (per delegate):
- Accommodation (except for day conferences)
- Full English breakfast
- Morning tea break with snacks
- Afternoon tea break with snacks
- Dinner (buffet meal or braai)
Included are the conference rooms and state-of-the-art equipment such as flipcharts, overhead projectors, screens, white boards, data projectors, DVD players and surround sound systems. The tables will have peppermints, iced water, orange squash, note pads and pens.
