From the booking in to clocking out the staff was exceptional. Cannot do enough to ensure everyone’s needs was met. The rooms were spacious. Loved the carpet in the room. Felt very luxurious. Breakfast was my highlight and supper was phenomenal. Highly recommend this place. Next time I’m also going to have to make use of the dinner dance option!

What a great place to come to. The place is clean and the views are beautiful. The restaurant has a great variety and I would highly recommend the pizza and burgers. There is a conference facility which I have used before which was very good. Nice little pub as well.

We had a one night breakaway for my birthday. There was a complimentary bottle of bubbly chilled in our room. We enjoyed the sun next to the swimming pool and had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant. So much history around the hotel – built in 1779. We visit often.

My wife and I needed a breakaway. It was the best decision to go to Houw Hoek Hotel. Definitely going again. The facilities are exceptional. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and restaurant was great.

We had a lovely get-away weekend. The surroundings are beautiful and the food and setting was great. It is close to Cape Town, and the area offers so many interesting activities.

From the breathtaking surroundings to the delicious dining options, I can’t recommend Houw Hoek Hotel enough – whether for a peaceful getaway or a special occasion, it’s truly a gem worth visiting!

This is the perfect hotel for a family break. The staff were super accommodating and kind to the children. The games room in the loft proved to be a huge hit as well as the padel court. We ate at the hotel both evenings and were once again so impressed with the food as well as the service.

Absolutely stunning grounds with extremely friendly staff. Went back there after 20 years to where my parents wedding photos were taken.
